Malachi, prophet of the Creator
Greetings, friend!
Malachi was a prophet of the Creator. We don't know more about him. What we do know is that after him there was a period of 400 years that there was NO prophet in Israel and Judah. Then there was a short period where two special messengers appeared...
He received several prophetic messages. (Remember prophetic messages are NOT necessary chronological, both in nature or recording.)
These prophecies summarized are:
1. Jacob and his family is the Creator's beloved children. And Esau is not.
2. The sacrifices are blemished with sins.
3. The priests' hearts are not in their service.
4. Judah is serving idols.
5. The Day of Judgment is coming.
6. Israel is robbing the Creator by not paying the full tithes. This leaves the priests and the poor hungry.
7. The Day of the Creator is coming.
These prophecies are recorded in the book of Malachi in the Torah and the Bible.
TODAY'S QUESTIONS:
Are you doing what the Creator wants you to do? Or are you deviating from His orders, even if it just slightly?
