End of days 9: Seal 3

Greetings, friend!

Today I am speaking about the third seal of Revelation 6.

It's a black horse with rider who holds a pair of scales, saying, "A small measure of wheat for a day's wages. A small measure of barley for a day's wages. Do not damage the oil and the wine!"

Who or what can this be? This is the personification of famine and poverty, on a small or big scale, as the result of war.

Just look at the world today! About 39% of the global population currently lives under the poverty line ("the estimated minimum level of income needed to secure the necessities of life" according to the Oxford Dictionary). According to World Vision:

Global poverty is expected to rise for the first time in 20 years. The COVID-19 pandemic threatens to push 88 million to 115 million people into extreme poverty in 2020, with the total rising to as many as 150 million by 2021.

Tomorrow we will discuss the fourth seal of Revelation 6 verse 7 and 8 and who or what this might be.
